Botanical Name: Rubus fruticosus

Blackberries, like raspberries, are a very easy berry to grow. Once this native berry is ripe, you can harvest some every couple of days! Blackberries offer many health benefits. They’re full of vitamins and minerals like C, K, and manganese, high in fiber, and may boost brain health. Self pollinating.

Baby Cakes: Dwarf, thornless blackberry with compact, rounded growth habit. Fireworks-like display of large, juicy berries.

Black Satin Thornless: Prolific producer of blue-black berries. Fast growing, deciduous, prolific producer on thornless vine-like canes; first year canes be trained & supported onto a trellis, or some other supportive structure system to help the canes to produce and sustain the maximum amount of berries.

Triple Crown: ‘Triple Crown’ is a semi-erect, thornless blackberry cultivar. This is a self-fruitful, free-standing, thornless shrub that produces one crop of fruit per year. Widely adapted, excellent home garden variety. Once canes have fruited, and been harvested...cut those canes right down to the root. Leave the new canes in place to fruit for next year.
